Well hi there!
How are you? I’m in the middle of watching football, like much of the country right now. But I figured I had a few minutes at half time to share my exciting week, considering it wasn’t really very exciting at all.
The rest of the day involves DnD and a few beers, but first up, this week I….
Let the Pugs take us for a walk
As an experiment, last Sunday, we decided to let the dogs lead us wherever they wanted to go on our walk.
We thought they might lead us straight to one of the parks we walk in, or possibly straight to the door of the local pub that they seem particularly fond of.
Instead we ended up here.
This is an entirely random blue door on a housing estate that we had never been on before, yet Waldo is looking at it with great expectations.
We probably won’t repeat this experiment.
Ate a LOT of Pizza
A LOT of pizza, because Papa Johns do a humungous XXL size and it was special offer, and there was football on Monday so we couldn’t be bothered to cook.
I refused to feel bad about the huge amount of pizza I ate. It was NICE pizza.
Though I did have to explain to Mr LLL that this is NOT how to eat pizza.
Had a near death experience
Except at the time I didn’t even realise it was a near death experience.
I was on the way to the gym and as I turned a corner a large white van came swinging around the corner. It had forgotten to put it’s tailgate up, and as it turned this came flying off the back at speed and landed about 5 foot in front of me.
My first thought was “Oh, I wonder if he knows he lost that?”, and it wasn’t until the van stopped and a man jumped out with a look of pure terror on his face that I realised how close it had come to hitting me and doing me, at the very least, a bit of an injury.
“That made me jump”, I said, in an understated and very British way, “I, bet!” He replied, and busied himself loading it back onto the van and carefully fastening tailgate.
So that was a bit dramatic!
And that was another exciting week in my life.
How was your week?
