I did promise to show you my new and entirely frivolous shoes, but by fortuitous coincidence I also get to show you my lovely new tights.
A couple of weeks ago, after I didn’t get to go to the Red or Dead Pop Up Shop, Red or Dead (or rather their PR) offered to send me some tights from their new collection. Last week I emailed them back, just wondering if they’d been sent, and it appears that somewhere there is a postman wearing some incredibly stylish tights under his uniform to keep warm as they had been sent and failed to arrive. A second attempt has now been made and this morning I opened my post to these goodies.
I LOVE the vintage style packaging and they have been opened very carefully so I can keep it forever and ever (I don’t know why, I really am Queen of the hoarders)
I haven’t managed to ladder them yet, which speaks to the quality of the tights as normally I only have to look at them for them to fall into holes. So far they seem to fit nicely and not do anything crazy like go baggy around the ankles within 10 minutes, though I haven’t, obviously, tried washing them yet!

I hope to get lots of wear out of them over the Christmas Period, particularly these crazy petrol blue and purple snowflake designs. I think they go rather nicely with the pink suede peep toes I bought over the weekend.

They really are the most horribly impractical shoes. Pink suede with a peep toe, platform sole and a huge stiletto heel, all tied up with a big black satin ankle ribbon. I shouldn’t really do ankle straps as I have teeny short legs, but, you know what? Sometimes you just have to stuff the rules and buy frivolous shoes.
