I already have one Vivien of Holloway frock.
It’s the one I’m wearing in my teeny tiny me header photo, though in real life it is green satin. It’s the 1950s Swing Dress style that she’s most famous for, as worn by Kate Nash, Nigella Lawson and Charlotte Church. Owning one doesn’t stop me wanting more, though, and I’m quite partial to this Day of the Dead print.
As well as this famous style Vivien of Holloway also sells a range of other styles online and from the shop on Holloway Road in North London. She sells tops, skirts and trousers, but today is Friday and it’s all about the Frock Love, so these are the dresses I want in my wardrobe.
This probably isn’t a new brand to you, but thereis a new style. Just in time for Summer you can get a VofH Tea Dress. It has gorgeous pleating detail at the back and shoulders and I’m quite drawn to this cute strawberry print.
Tea Dress Black Strawberry Fields – £59
Perfect for a lovely day dress this 1940s style has padded shoulders and a sarong style skirt. It’s also kind of bargainous at £35.
1940s Dress Midnight Garden – £35
Ooooh, how beautiful is this? I am seriously in love with this fabric and style, but I think I’d want to try it on to make sure of the fit across the hips. Maybe a trip to North London is in order this Summer. This dress makes me dream of hot summer nights, cocktails and amazing hair.
Sarong Blue Gold Dragon – £69
If you fancy a dress of your very own there is a 10% off flyer in my competition prize!
