Just a quickie today (oo-eer!)

My posting schedule (how organised does that sound!) has been all thrown out by the lost days buying and recovering my laptop, but I wanted to let you know about this before it’s too late!

You might have seen Innocent Smoothies adorning their bottles with cute little wooly hats. Well they’re not just adorable little marketing tools, they’re also for Charity. Innocent Smoothies donate 25p to the utterly brilliant Age UK for every bottle sold, but once you’ve got your hat you can give even more. Hold up the hat, and take a photo so it looks like something, or someone, is wearing it, and then upload it to the Facebook page and they’ll donate an extra 10p to Age UK. Plus the best photos each week will win some smoothies.

Here’s my efforts. They’re not very good….

The man in front of me in the bar was too far away and is wearing a huge hat

Dita Von Teese looked chilly in this outfit. But I don’t think the huge hat helped much.

So instead I gave my phone to Mr Chick, who is far better at this kind of thing, and he kindly popped the hat on me!

I intended to do this earlier and give it a post of it’s own, but dead laptops and time constraints have meant this is all I can do before it finishes on Friday, but I love Innocent, and I love Age UK, so I wanted to give it a shout out!

Tonight I am off to Seven Dials in Covent Garden for a nicely festive Christmas blogger reception. I happened to be in London for a night out anyway, so mince pies and mulled wine sounded like an excellent way to start the evening. As does the promise of a plethora of independent boutiques to wander round while I sup it.

I love to look in independent shops for little gifts for people, as it’s nice to think you might find something they’ve not already seen and as the area has a special Christmas event tomorrow night with 20% off in all the shops it seemed like a good opportunity! Hopefully I’ll also get lots of gorgeously festive snaps to show you over the weekend!

Maybe some of them will be of people “wearing” bobble hats. Who knows!

Happy Snapping!
