I need new shoes.
Don’t get me wrong, I have LOADS of shoes, but very many of them are the sort you can’t actually walk in, and the ones I can walk in I have worn very nearly to death. So, I have been fantasy shopping for shoes. Sort of sensible shoes, ones with mid heels and a front buckle or t-bar, but not so thick it cuts you off at the ankle.
Here are my top High Street picks that are on my wish list for when my bank balance is looking a little healthier….
Chorus Thrill – Clarks
These come in “Mushroom”, Navy and Black and have a concealed platform to make you look all tall and elegant.
Shelleys Klimsa T Bar Platform – ASOS
A big chunky platform, but I like that in a shoe! Bit gutted these aren’t in my size, especially as they are also in the sale.
Poste Mistress Debbie T Bar – Office
The T bar on this is a little higher, so might cut you off at the ankle a little, but it’s quite thin and these are very sexy shoes, also in the sale!
Antina T Bar Shoe – Dune
These are NICE. Reduced in the sale to a measly Ā£23 and available in black, red and grey, though sadly sizes are pretty limited in the red and black.
Irregular Choice Bloxy Simba Cat Shoes – Schuh
Abandon pretence of sensibleness all ye who enter here! They’re a sensible shape, with a sensible heel, but do black and gold shoes with cats on them qualify as a sensible every day shoe?
