Cocktail Week Highlights

I told you I’d be back with more Cocktails!

I promise this will be the last one for a little while, as I’m pretty much cocktailed out, but this has been a big thing in my life for the last 6 months plus and it seems a shame to let it end without a little round up of the week!

Honestly I’m still really tired at the moment. I’ve got a lot of sleep to catch up with and a lot of alcohol free days to catch up with too!

A little before and after for you!

Back when we first started talking about a Cocktail Week for Norwich we thought we’d get maybe 10 bars involved in the first year and maybe 100 people, most of which we assumed we would know to get out there and visit all the bars. In the end we had about 24 venues involved, and over 200 people out there with wristbands, which isn’t bad for a first year, but did mean it was a massive learning curve for us! Next year we’d like it to be even bigger and better, so there’s a lot of learning to do and a lot of stress to prepare for!

A particular highlight for me of the week was having Stoli vodka come and demo a technique for making a martini chilled down to -18 degrees using dry ice. It was the first time Stoli had demonstrated the technique to a consumer audience and it felt pretty good to be able to bring something like that to little old Norwich!

I instagrammed *almost* all the drinks I drank during Cocktail Week, so here’s a little round up of the week! Hover over to find out what bars they came from!

Blimey that’s a lot of cocktails!! It looks amazing, what a super event! Norwich is a long way from Wales though, otherwise I’d have been temped. P x
