Good Morning Folks!
I like to think of myself as a nice organised and prepared person, so you’d think that seeing as I knew I had to go out today I’d have had a blog post prepared in advance, right?
Wrong! Today I am heading up to UEA to rep the Norfolk Brawds at an International Womens Day event. If you’re around, come say hi, I’ll be (one of) the ones on roller skates! Actual International Women’s Day was yesterday, and it saw me making it across the monkey bars at the gym for the very first time, lifting free weights and managing a personal best on the bench press, going for a 4 mile run before getting my stilettos and glad rags on and heading down to the Puppet Theatre at the end of my road for this years Vintage Show as part of Norwich Fashion Week. What a very varied day I had!
So today, before I shoot off to be a roller skatin’ chick, I thought I’d share a few quick snaps from my favourites at the show. It’s called “the Vintage Show” but in reality a lot of the items on the catwalk weren’t vintage. There was a mix of some of my favourite vintage shops in Norwich, some vintage style designers and some retailers that aren’t really vintage at all, but do sell some pretty gorgeous stuff.
I’ve included some favourites here from Prim Vintage, Retreat Vintage, Wake Up Little Susie, Proudlock & Harry, Betsy Hatter, and House of Handmade. Sorry if I’ve forgotten anyone!
Norwich Fashion Week goes on till next Thursday, and there are 2 main shows left. The Designers Show on Tuesday and Fashion Excess on Thursday night. More details on the website!
