Product Samples & Reviews
I am happy to receive products to review, but I will only review them if I actually like them! Whilst I am always polite I also reserve the right to be honest and I always disclose products that have been given to me. If you would like me to review your product please email hello@retrochick.co.uk
Gifted items in outfit posts will be marked as c/o on their first appearance and declared in the blog text. From 2013 onwards I have taken the decision to mark any gifted and review products with a * no matter how long ago they were gifted as obviously items remain in my wardrobe and get reworn.
Affiliates and links
This site earns revenue using Skimlinks and other affiliate networks. This means I may get paid a small commission if you purchase a product or service by clicking a link in the content. This does not cost you anything.
All posts are driven by editorial content, and if a post is specifically sponsored by a company then it will be marked as such in the footer of the post.
I use Skimlinks to help automate the process of linking to products as it means I do not directly create affiliate links myself, but my content can be monetised if a retailer I write about has an affiliate scheme. This means I do not always know if a link in a post is part of an affiliate scheme or not.
