My favourite thing to bake are chocolatr chip biscuits, so sweet and gooey on the inside and crisp on the outside. The best treat in the world

We love baking muffins and trying out different flavour combinations. Our current favourite bake is rhubarb and custard

My absolute favourite thing is a baked chocolate brownie cheesecake (which you’ve probably seen pictures of a few times 😀 ) but its a very summery pudding.

At the moment I’m baking lots of comfort puddings. An apple and plum cobbler hot from the oven is lovely on a cold winters day.

I like experimenting with unusual recipes, my last one was a chocolate cake recipe from the Great Depression that used no eggs or butter. It had white vinegar and baking soda react to make it rise and it turned out really nice 🙂

    My comment hasn’t appeared… Odd!

I love to bake cupcakes in cones and decorate them like ice creams.

  6. I love Tala products, my grandma had an original icing syringe. I have asked Father Christmas for a Tala pie funnel 😀 my favourite thing to bake is bread pudding using cranberries instead of dried mixed fruit. Scrummy 🙂

I love to make bread pudding using cranberries instead of mixed fruit. I make it every week and take it in for the girls at work, it also happens to be the boss’s favourite 🙂

I like to bake recipes from my collection of vintage cookbooks. My favourite bakes at the moment are a big “sharing” mince pie and some chocolate brownies from 50s good housekeeping that you make with cocoa and syrup. Mm!

  9. My favourite thing to bake is Lemon Drizzle cake or banana loaf – both so easy, so tasty and virtually impossible to mess up (always a bonus!) Of course when I am getting my daughters to bake FOR me then I usually ask for anything with cinnamon in – my eldest daughter does a particularly yummy cinnamon loaf 😉

  10. I LOVE to bake, it is such a joy. My favourite thing to bake has to be cupcakes with exciting icing. For my sisters birthday I made rainbow icing cupcakes with minion (from despicable me) cake pops! It was great fun.

Victoria Sponge using the vintage recipe where you weigh the eggs and the flour, sugar and butter weigh the same – yummy!

How lovely! One of my favourite things to bake is Banana Bread, as it’s yummy and uses up black bananas! Especially good with maple syrup…

I love baking anything. It is a very rare treat for me to be allowed use of the kitchen, so when I do I bake whatever I have the ingredients for.

Any sort of meringue – pavlova, roulades… Even bought a copper bowl to whisk my egg whites… Dedicated 🙂

I’m learning all about the world of pies! I like to think I’m not too shabby either 😉 Thanks for another wonderful giveaway!

My favourite thing to bake *at the moment* is cupcakes – I’ve just discovered the joys of rum butter “icing” on them 😉 Though I did recently pick up a yule log recipe that I’m dying to try out, and I’ve also been looking for Victoria sponge recipes as that’s probably my favourite cake ever!

This time of year I like to make some squishy and firey ginger bread. The snowflake cutters in this kit would be perfect for this!
Lemon Feather cake is always a favourite too :^D

I love to bake with my little boy. My fave is to make cupcakes with him and our recent discovery of rainbow multi coloured cakes were a hit.

Hello – well – I’m current making a shopping list for a Christmas cake so I think that might be my favourite.

My favourite thing to bake is actually scones. I know they are simple, but topped with jam and cream they are just so delicious and I just can’t go past them with a cup of tea on a rainy day!

Vanilla cupcakes 🙂 My son and I bake them a lot, I bake and he decorates (he’s three so his decorating skills consist of drowning them in icing and throwing 100s & 1000s at them) 🙂

I Love Baking so many different things it’s hard to decide but I think at the moment it is fruit scones. I just loves the feeling of crumbling the butter and flour.

Banana bread with rum soaked currants is my favourite recipe. It’s easy to bake and makes the house smell amazing 🙂

I like to bake fairy cakes with my son or scones. Our fave thing we both enjoy baking though is our triple chocolate smarties and choc buttons cake 🙂 It’s delicious but full of calories, even a small slice is too much if you’re watching your weight. Love it though 🙂

Lemon drizzle cake and the classic Victoria Sponge always go down well. I’m not really a fan of the heavy, rich festive foods available at this time of year.

  26. says: Gail Bennett

I’m a bit out of practice with baking, but I made some mince pies over the Christmas period and really enjoyed making them … and the results were yummy too!! 😉

Estonian pirukad (pirukas) aka perogies, pirogies, peroshka. Little pasties of fried, very finely chopped gammon and onion (use cooking bacon), enclosed in half-circles of rolled out milk bread dough, brushed with egg and baked for 20 minutes at 180 C. or until golden. Has to be bread dough, pastry not the same.
