My New Mulberry Dress & a Charity Reminder

Eyeliah at Style Symmetry invited everyone to her virtual birthday party this year.

Never one to turn down the opportunity to get dressed up, and considering I don’t have to actually fly to Canada to attend, I decided that it was a party I just couldn’t miss.

I even took balloons!

I also thought it was a great opportunity to give my new Mulberry dress it’s first outing on the blog. I have worn it once, before Christmas, but I failed to take any photos as I was too busy having fun. It’s probably my best Charity Shop bargain ever. In a gorgeous floaty silk chiffon fabric it was love at first sight, and it only cost £12. That’s TWELVE POUNDS! That’s a bargain for New Look, for Mulberry it’s almost theft.

❤ Dress - Mulberry (via a Charity Shop) ❤ Shoes - New Look ❤
❤ Earrings - Vintage ❤ Necklace - Boho Boutique ❤ Belt - Vintage ❤

And finally, on a less frivolous note…..

It’s been a few days, the newspapers are starting to get bored of the story, but the relief effort is only just getting underway and your support is as important as ever. Please take the time to watch this short video about the Red Cross relief efforts, which includes a direct link to the Disasters Emergency Comittee site where you can donate whatever you can afford to the relief effort.

  1. looking seriously, seriously gorgeous here! What a beautiful dress – I always think Mulberry womenswear is really underrated. I think it’s still designed by Hazel from one of my all-time fave labels, the now defunct House of Jazz. Blah, I’m wittering. It’s early! You look great.
