What Are You Wearing? Fancy Dress, Apparently.

Back to work tomorrow. Boo.

Well, I don’t mind really, but another outfit post for you today before I head off to watch Alice in Wonderland for the second time. I really liked it that much!

This outfit amuses me now because I thought it looked pretty good, but not weird or odd in any way. Then a woman in the toilets in the pub asked me if I was in Fancy Dress. The woman in question was dressed as Smurfette. I kid you not.

That’s guaranteed to give you outfit paranoia.

I did wonder whether my make up had thrown her. I was wearing red lipstick and black eyeliner (tutorial here!) except I’d just bought a fab new felt pen eyeliner (Maybelleine Line Definer liquid liner) and had got a bit carried away doing little flicks with it as it’s really controllable and draws a great fine line.

2 details you can’t see in the picture, but I shan’t be taking them again, are the fab tights which came from Red or Dead (I did a post on the Snowflake tights before Christmas) they have racer back stripes which are a great twist on back seams. I’m also wearing a necklace I won from Miggy Likes the Internet before Christmas, which is the PPQ for Cadbury cat necklace.

Anyhoo, that’s quite enough wittering about what I wore at the weekend. I need to find something to wear TODAY to go to the cinema and eat hot dogs.

      I thought about close ups, I should have done the necklace too, but I forgot. I was busy being on holiday, I went to the pub to watch the Rugby and drink pints!

    you’re gorgeous, as is your entire ensemble. that dress seems versatile in that you can dress it down with flats and dress it up, as you’ve done in these photos.
